Pedro Costa, CEO – The founder of InStyle, Pedro stumbled on the business of music for Film/TV as a composer in 2011. His own compositions are currently used in hundreds of television shows around the world. Some credits include 13 Reasons Why, The Fosters, America’s Got Talent, The Steve Harvey Show, Shameless, The Young And The Restless, and a national TV commercial in the UK. Pedro also gives back to the music community as a speaker, panelist at music conferences, and as a judge of the Emmy Awards.
Belinda Coomes is the Operations Manager at InStyle. Assisting with day-to-day operations, writer relations, and catalogue administration. She left a comfy IT job in pursuit of her passion for music. She is also a music composer herself with various placements on TV, short films, Facebook games, and media production of content for corporate clients. Belinda brings with her, years of experience in customer service, and client management roles.
Anna Garcia Lascurain, Manager of Licensing and A&R. Anna’s love of music and film led her to a career in music supervision and licensing. After graduating from NYU with a Bachelors of Music, she got her start at Search Party in New York. At Search Party, she music supervised commercials for brands like Google, Starbucks, Target, Cadillac, Chevy, and American Express, and worked on films such as Grey Gardens, The Vow, and Friends with Kids. She then was hired at renowned indie label Sub Pop Records as Director of Licensing. She procured licenses for Sub Pop’s vast catalog in numerous TV, films, and Ads.
Kali Arnott is a Music Curator at InStyle. Originally a cover gig musician around Atlanta, she realized playing bar gigs was not for her. So she started writing for local artists and producers. During a college internship, she was introduced to the world of Synch, and never looked back! Working as both a top liner and a work-for-hire vocalist Kali as earned placements on TV shows including The Resident (FOX), Younger (Paramount), Teen Mom (MTV), and The Young and the Restless (CBS).
Joe Brandt is the Music Analyst and Metadata Specialist at InStyle. Joe got his start in the business as an assistant recording engineer and production assistant at various indie labels and recording studios in the greater New York City area. Now living in Los Angeles, Joe is a freelance Music Supervisor providing Clearance, Licensing and Supervision for television and film.
George Morden is an Intern at InStyle. Based in the UK, he grew up playing in bands and started producing music from a very young age. Since completing a BSc (Hons) in Creative Music Technology, he has worked as a Composer, Mastering Engineer and in Distribution – where he has supported some of the biggest record labels in dance music.
